Presentation Night 2016 – 15th October 2016

The Club’s 17th Annual Presentation Night included more than 300 players, families and guests.  Trophies and awards were handed out to celebrate the great year that the Junior teams enjoyed, particularly the U17s who were the Champions in their League.  Once again a big thanks goes to the members of the Junior committee for all of the work that went into making the evening a success.

 

 

Family Fun Day – 11th September 2016

To celebrate the end of the 2016 season, we all got together at our Club rooms to play games and thank the players and families for such a good year.  We would like to to congratulate the Junior Committee for organising the event.

 

 

Juniors (U13-U17) Best & Fairest – 9th September 2016

The 2016 Juniors (U13-U17) Best and Fairest night was held at the Clubrooms.  Coaches awards were handed out and the votes up to Round 15 were announced.  The final results will be announced at the Presentation Night in October.

 

 

Juniors Bowling Night  – 16th July 2016

Junior families came together at Epping Ozpin for a night full of laughs and fun.  See photos below.

 

 

2016 Mascot Day for Juniors – 18th June 2016

On a cold and wet day members of our Under 7’s, 8’s and 9’s attended a Seniors home game against Mill Park and participated in the pre-match briefing and walked out onto the ground with the Senior players prior to the game.  A big thanks goes to the parents and players and the Senior team and coach who supported them on the day.

Juniors Groups Family Meet & Greet – 22nd March 2016

On a warm evening after training, we had our first activity for the year.  This was a chance to formally welcome the new families to the club and to reconnect with the families returning for another year.  A big thanks to the Junior Committee for their work in putting this together.

 

Appointment of Junior Co-ordinator for 2016

The Plenty Valley Lions FC is pleased to announce that Anthony Napolitano has been appointed to this key position for the 2016 season.

The key focus of the role will be to drive continued development of all coaches through clearer training programs to ensure on going development of our juniors.  We wish Anthony every success in this new role at the club.

2016 Junior Registration Day – 6th Feb 2016

The Junior Registration day was a great success with a number of new families showing an interest and joining our Junior ranks.  We were also pleased to see so many of our current families returning for another exciting and challenging year.  

A big thank you goes to our Junior Committee members; Rosa Harrison, Denis Marcolin and Harry Karacan for their work on the day.  In addition we wish to thank members of the Senior Committee for cooking the BBQ and making the families feel so welcome.  We look forward to the start of the season and the upcoming training sessions.
